Training Courses and Demos
Why not try your hand at cake decorating and organise a personal or small group training session or demo. Whether you are a complete beginner, or would like to develop your existing skills, the training can be styled to suit your needs. All courses will generally include all materials as well as use of equipment on the day, as well as a suitable box to contain your creation.
Personal Training
Personal training sessions (e.g. 1-3 people) or small group sessions (4+ people) are available to take place in the comfort of your own home. You may personalise the session yourself so that we cover only aspects/topics that interest you. All materials and equipment will be provided. The minimum time for a training session is 2 hours and the cost is as follows:
one to one session - £45 per hour
two person session - £65 per hour
three person session - £95 per hour
four person session - £120 per hour
(each additional half hour charged at £10 per person)
As can be seen from the above, the cost of personal training reduces with the number of people attending and can actually work out to be no more expensive, or even cheaper, than attending a scheduled training course.

Children's Training
Training courses for children are held at Tonbridge School during half-terms, Easter and Summer holidays as part of their Recre8 Scheme. In addition, courses are being held at Holmewood House School, Langton Green (Tunbridge Wells) during Easter and Summer holidays. Children's Parties
Cake decorating/sugarcraft sessions held at children's parties (DB checked) - commonly cupcake decorating. All equipment and materials will be provided and, if the party is for a birthday then, in addition to the theme of the session, a pre-iced birthday cake will be provided for the children to jointly decorate. These sessions are usually 2 1/2 hour but can be longer if required and are held in the parents' home or venue of their choice. The cost depends on the number of children attending, the duration of the session and what the session involves. Gift Certificates
Gift certificates may be purchased for any value and are redeemable against any future course. Why not treat a budding cake decorator with a certificate for a Mother's Day, birthday or Christmas gift?

The cost of demos range between of £40 - £45 per person, depending on the duration of the demo (1.5 - 2.5 hours duration for a minimum of 4 people).
Group Demos
Patchwork Cutters provide numerous ways to create fantastic designs - e.g. the cutters can be used to cut out great designs, emboss designs straight onto a cake or onto a plaque and/or create applique and decoupage designs. They are great to use for both demos and training courses, giving attendees plenty of inspiration to get involved in sugar craft. Other sugar craft techniques (e.g. sugar flowers, modelling may also be organised as a demo to groups, institutes and organisations can be arranged upon request within a 30 mile radius of Tonbridge - i.e. Sussex, Surrey, Essex, South East London and other parts of Kent.
