A personal training session today with a lovely lady in Essex. This is what she produced. She learnt how to split, fill and professionally ice a cake to get a superb finish, how to make a model sugar teddy and a wire burst of decorations, as well as a sugar bow and some butterflies. An amazing result!

These are the results of what the children produced on the Valentine themed cakes this half term - an iced board with a bouquet of red rose cupcakes and a spray of red roses. Pretty good eh? Oh, and the children were aged 9, 10 and 11 years! |
CHILDREN'S PARTIES
By popular demand, I now provide cake decorating/sugarcraft sessions at children's birthday parties. All equipment and materials will be provided. These are usually 2 1/2 hour sessions but can be longer if required and the cost depends on number of children attending, the duration of the session and what the session involves. PERSONAL TRAINING FOR ADULTS
The one to one (and small group sessions) are proving ever popular. If you would like to book a session in the comfort of your own home, use the enquiry form on this site or make contact direct on 01732 369736 / 07722 340303. The cost of personal training is as follows:
one to one session - £45 per hour
two person session - £65 per hour
three person session - £80 per hour
four person session - £125 per hour
(each additional hour charged at £10 per person)
As can be seen from the above, the cost of personal training reduces with the number of people attending and can actually work out to be no more expensive, or even cheaper, than attending a scheduled training course.
Personal training will generally include all materials as well as use of equipment on the day, and a suitable box for your creation. Where appropriate, full instructions will also be provided. You can choose your course from any of those advertised on this site, or training can be tailored to suit your personal needs.

Sugarcraft and cake decorating courses are taking place at Tonbridge School as part of their Recre8 scheme. The scheme offers training to children aged 10+ (sometimes 9+) during all half-term breaks and Easter, spring and summer holidays.
If you are interested in booking a place for your child, please contact the Tonbridge Recre8 Scheme direct on 01732 304123 (prices vary depending on whether the course consists of one, two, three, four or five sessions, with each session being 2.5 hours).
